PLEASE NOTE THAT FISHING IN THE ESTUARY IS EXTREMELY WEATHER AND TIDAL DEPENDANT.
We are lucky to be able to live and fish in one of the UK’s most beautiful and precious stretches of coastline. The Kingsbridge Estuary is an extreme example of a saltwater Ria (drowned river valley open to the sea, caused by rising sea levels) and with it’s various tidal creeks and inlets, provides a perfect habitat for a variety of fish (Bass, Mullet, Bream, Wrasse, Plaice amongst others).
Lure fishing for Bass in particular is a passion (or maybe an obsession!) to a lot of anglers, and it doesn't get better than down here in the South Hams.
Depending on the wind and tides we can point you towards the most protected spots up the estuary or along the open coast for our own comfort, balanced with the very best chance of catching a fish.
You can rent kit from us or bring your own gear (apart from waders - which we would strongly encourage wearing should you want to fish in the creeks.
We rent rods and reels, and a basic box of lures for £50/day. Most valuably this includes a map of all the best spots to try. If you lose lures their replacement cost is charged at £10 each.
